Learn More About Me:

1. What career changes have you made? Why did you become a coach?

When it comes to career changes, I have had plenty of experience. My resume reads: Educator; Full Time Parent - Part Time Volunteer; Business Owner; Retiree; Coach. I discovered coaching just as I was beginning to realize I was far from ready to retire. It is the perfect career for me as it allows me to use my gifts and honor my values. I believe that we are all meant to make the world a better place. Imagine, I help people find the courage to go out into the world, confident in their strengths, eager to create and live a life to celebrate.

2. What excites or ignites your soul?

What excites me as a coach is when my client experiences that "a ha" moment, that moment of clarity when he/she says "Oh wow, now I get it..." It may be a new idea, or just a shift in perspective, but it's when possibility is born. The fascination for me comes in helping my client turn possibility into reality.

3. What's your favorite element of the Career Clarity Program?

My favorite element of the Career Clarity Program is its elegant design. It is simple, easy to use and tremendously powerful. It can be used as a tool to solve the immediate problem of I've got to find a job!, or it can serve as a precision instrument to craft a career filled with meaning and purpose.

4. What results have other clients achieved while working
   with you?

Clients working with me have achieved a variety of results:

• PC realized it wasn't enough to work with artists every day, he had to be creative himself. He is presently developing a "totally new art" approach to lighting and gathering information about Grad school.
  
• SF stopped seeing downsizing for retirement as a tremendous chore and a downer and instead began to work on one room at a time with an eye toward freeing herself for fun and adventure... "Why Wait" is her new motto.
  
• SK came to appreciate his innate intelligence. His MS wasn't a fluke. He realized his present job would be perfect for someone studying for a Ph.D. He has applied to a local university.
  
• SB found she could accept the injustice of a wrongful discharge, considering she was rich in friends and family. She let go of her frustrations, moved to a smaller home and is "having a ball with her grand kids." She makes sure to ask for what she needs in her new job.
5. How do you typically work with clients interested in the Career Clarity Program?

I am pretty flexible in the way I work with clients. Some come to my office for introductions and an overview. After that, pre-arranged, weekly phone sessions work well. E-mail updates are always welcome between appointments. Group workshops are another option that I welcome.
