1. What career changes have you made? Why did you become a coach?

I have been a licensed psychologist in San Antonio for about ten years. Prior to becoming a psychologist I had a very diverse employment history÷from gymnastics instructor to legal secretary, from stepparent to three great children (who are all adults now) to having a wonderful child of my own. I have always looked at my career and life choices as a way to delve into new cultures and experience new adventures.

I made the decision to incorporate coaching into my life as a way to help my adult clients experience more in their lives and careers. I truly enjoy helping others clarify their dreams and achieve their goals. To me life is not about simply dreaming big, but making conscious choices in order to live the life you desire!

 

2. What excites or ignites your soul?

I love watching others become empowered and clear about their intentions and choices. I feel honored to witness my client's personal growth toward living a more balanced and abundant life.

3. What's your favorite element of the Career Clarity Program?

I love the brainstorming process of the Program. The back and forth energy between the client and coach is so much fun! This is the place where we work together to come up with creative ideas about career options based on the values and ãmust-havesä the client has discovered about themselves over the previous weeks' work.

4. What results have other clients achieved while working
   with you?

Some clients explore jobs within the same field and find new jobs that are more rewarding or fulfilling. One client left a job in which she felt criticized and unsupported only to blossom in a new position where she now coordinates events for a large non-profit and loves it! Some clients return to school or a career after their children are grown. One client returned to school after her son was grown and completed a Master's Degree in Social Work. Other clients move into completely new territory, leaving a career in one field to pursue their real calling in another. One client left a career in investment banking to pursue her real love, creating her own event planning and etiquette training business.

5. How do you typically work with clients interested in the Career Clarity Program?

I work with clients one on one over the telephone. I provide my clients with unlimited emails between sessions. I would also be open to small group coaching (4 clients maximum).
